Practical FD was founded by Mike Clark
I am a tech savvy commercial Finance Director. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA), I have held a number of positions in multinationals and smaller companies, including start-ups and PE backed Companies. Since 2003, I have run my own consultancy providing FD and HR services. Having worked with a portfolio of companies either as a short-term Interim or on a part time basis, I understand the demands placed on SME’s in a competitive market. I work very closely with MD’s acting as a sounding board and trusted confidante to formulate strategy and improve profitability.
In my spare time I’m a keen runner and a volunteer Blood biker for a local charity.
